My favourite island has always been Maui because as a child I liked the way the name sounded. According to Hawaiian lore, Maui was the name of the son of Hawai’iloa, the person who found the Hawaiian archipelago. I’m sure Maui the son would have been pleased with Maui the island which I think is one of the most beautiful and diverse islands of Hawaii. My favourite part of Maui is Wailea on the south coast. Of course, Wailea is also expensive and exclusive (would you have thought otherwise if I liked it??). You have a choice of two or four bedroom villas. The two bedroom villas are a very spacious 2500 s.f. and have two master bedrooms with ensuite facilities. The four bedroom/3 bathroom villa is a bit bigger at approximately 3000 s.f.
For the family traveller, these luxury condos are a perfect combination of location and amenities. All that space gives your kids freedom to roam. In addition, the front desk can even arrange for babysitting services.
The open plan living area and lanai adds to the feeling of space.
Both types of villas have high-end furnishings (such as Ralph Lauren Home furniture), a Viking grill in the lanai area and German contemporary kitchens with luxury appliances. The four bedroom villas have two Sub-Zero fridges so you can have your very own luxury beer fridge.
A full service kitchen should you wish to cook on vacation.
Wailea Beach Villas is located on 12 acres along beautiful Wailea Beach. The resort is beautifully landscaped with gardens and waterfalls. Among the other amenities are two pools, a business centre and a fitness centre.

The amenities of Wailea are a short walk from Wailea Beach Villas. In fact, The Shops at Wailea with its boutiques, restaurants and art galleries are adjacent to the condos. Sure, your condo has a kitchen but why cook when you can there is such easy access to great Hawaiian food at hand?
The area is also known for its golf courses. When the children get bored with playing in the sand, you can hike, bike and drive around the beautiful island.
Beautiful Wailea beach
The Wailea resort has 7 major hotels. Next door to Wailea Beach Villas, you have the Grand Wailea and the Wailea Beach Resort & Spa. Of Wailea’s 5 spas, four of them are located in the big hotels, including these two neighbouring ones. You can enjoy the amenities offered by these large hotels and then go back to the peace and serenity of your own villa.
In addition to the spas, the large hotels also have additional restaurant options. They run the gamut from Starbucks at the Wailea Beach Resort to the Wolfgang Puck’s famed Spago at the Four Seasons Hotel.
