I’m not a fan of the Living Coral color personally but then I didn’t like Ultraviolet, Pantone’s color for 2018. It reminds me of the Crayola crayon color ‘flesh’ which got renamed peach to be more politically correct. In 2022, the Pantone color is Very Peri and my favourite Crayola color as a child was periwinkle blue.

On the plus side, coral is definitely a more golden hue than Millennial Pink (which I heard referred to as vaginal pink for the first time in reference to India Mahdavi’s design for Sketch London). So yeah, I can’t look at millennial pink the same way again.
